when street protesters killed over 100 and took over airports and city centers. This is another weird sentense.... if you want to say the protester waere killed, it needs to have 'were' in it. but just said protesters killed over 100 - sounds more like it said the protesters killed 100 other people.... not that the protesters were killed.
Someone with better english please tell me i'm wrong!!
edit to add - Asked my american friend and they said the same thing...
street protesters killed over 100 meaning the street protesters killed other people, were responsible of killing over 100 people...
If they want to say the protester died, they would say '
over 100 street protesters killed' instead of the other way around.
I give this article a total bull$hit.
