10 People the World Would be Better Off Without
http://joelweiden.wo...er-off-without/
I don’t wish ill on most people. That said, if any of the following were to meet their untimely demise or otherwise left the stage, it would be a net-plus for the world.
Thaksin Shinawatra: a shit-stirrer of the highest level, this ego-maniac and convicted criminal continues to pull the strings in Thailand via his sister/proxy Yingluck. His sole goals: to have his conviction overturned and his assets returned. And perhaps run Thailand again. Toxin is Exhibit 1 that billionaires don’t always make good political leaders.
Silvio Berlusconi: at first I thought this guy just gets a bad wrap from the media in Italy, which has has 647 prime ministers since the end of WW2. But alas, he’s a moron –a very wealthy one to be sure — but a moron nonetheless. Then again, Italian politics is a complete disaster, so the fact that he has held onto office for so long should not be a surprise. Exhibit 2 that billionaires don’t make good political leaders. Bunga bunga!
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: this Holocaust-denying buffoon isn’t even liked by the ayatollahs (who are even scarier). He is an embarrassment to Iran. And that’s saying a lot.
Hugo Chavez: please just go away. Were it not for Venezuela’s oil, he wouldn’t matter in the least. He is a cyst on the Americas’ bottom.
Fidel Castro: his hanging on is holding Cuba back. We all know that once Fidel is gone, Raul and the rest of Cuba’s leadership is likely to make some major changes; they just don’t want to insult him.
Kim Jong-il: didn’t he die already? The most dangerous little man in the world has put his population into abject poverty, just so he can play his political games. We all know the Koreas will reunify at some point, let’s just get on with it!
Robert Mugabe: this “person” has destroyed a once-great nation. Once the bread-basket of Africa, Zimbabwe today is a joke, with rampant inflation and food shortages. He uses brutal force against his political opponents. It’s too bad there hasn’t been an African Spring…I wouldn’t mind seeing him dragged through the streets as happened to Muammar.
Hamid Karzai: Were it not for the U.S., this buffoon (who has been described in some reports as a drug addict and corrupt) would not be in power. Now he says he’d side with Pakistan if there were a conflict with the U.S. Better than the Taliban for sure, but not by much. The poor people of Afghanistan…
Ayman al-Zawahiri: Al-Qaeda’s putative head should be chopped off in what would probably be a death knell for the terrorist organization. I don’t get the sense that they Libyans will take him up on his new call for them to adopt Sharia law…
