ที่กองบัญชาการตำรวจปราบปรามยาเสพติด (บช.ปส.) นายธาริต เพ็งดิษฐ์ อธิบดีกรมสอบสวนคดีพิเศษ (ดีเอสไอ) ในฐานะเลขานุการศูนย์อำนวยการรักษาความสงบเรียบร้อย (ศอ.รส.) กล่าวว่า ในวันพรุ่งนี้ (15 พ.ค.) เวลา 13.00 น. ศอ.รส.จะแถลงข่าวในประเด็นการพบวัตถุระเบิด และอุปกรณ์ก่อการร้ายหลายรายการ ในพื้นที่สวนลุมพินี หลังจากกลุ่ม กปปส.เคลื่อนย้ายออกจากพื้นที่ โดยจะมีผู้บังคับการตำรวจนครบาล 5 มาร่วมแถลงด้วย ส่วนประเด็นที่สังคมสงสัยว่าการที่นายสุเทพ เทือกสุบรรณ เลขาธิการ กปปส.เข้าไปในพื้นที่ทำเนียบรัฐบาล โดยใช้ตึกสันติไมตรี เป็นตึกอำนวยการ ได้รับการอนุญาตจากฝ่ายทหารหรือไม่นั้น วันนี้ชัดเจนแล้วว่าทหารไม่ได้อนุญาตให้นายสุเทพ เข้าไปแต่อย่างใด แต่มีการบุกรุกเข้าไปในพื้นที่ทำเนียบฯ ด้วยการตัดโซ่หน้าประตู และปีนเข้าไป โดยในวันพรุ่งนี้ (15 พ.ค.) เวลา 13.00 น.ก็จะมีเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ ทหาร และเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี ร่วมแถลงด้วยนายธาริต กล่าวต่อว่า ขณะนี้ ศอ.รส.รอฟังคำสั่งศาลอาญาในเวลา 15.00 น. หลังจากอัยการสั่งฟ้องแกนนำ กปปส. 43 คน ในข้อหาร่วมกันเป็นกบฎ หากศาลอนุมัติหมายจับให้ เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจก็ดำเนินการจับกุมได้ทันที โดยได้จัดชุดปฏิบัติการจู่โจมพิเศษไว้แล้ว ซึ่งเป้าหมายแรกที่จะจับกุมมีจำนวนกว่า 20 คน ส่วนอีกกว่า 10 คน ที่มีกองกำลังคุ้มกัน ทางเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจต้องใช้ความรอบคอบ หากสบโอกาสจึงจะจับกุม
