Your letter embarrassed me as a Thai so bad that was why I corrected it.

To contact a foreign country's leader, you need a proper channel to do so.
As you may see from time to time, people will protest or submit their requests at the diplomatic posts.
Such as embassies or consulates but not writing a letter or demand needs directly to them.

I know that I can't stop you from doing this because you think that you can.

The democrat party's spokesman also posted on his twitter both details and a photo of Mr. President taken with his party's leader.

This year the greatest flood has damaged the country and also jeopardized many lives in all affected areas.
We believe this crisis is the worst for the past 100 years. And the public concern is widespread.

May I have your permission, Mr. President, to confirm the appointment that you had with him to validate the date and time as he has claimed?

I strongly believe that the president of the Maldives acknowledged your letter and all of your concerns.
But I doubt that he will reply you in person, or the way that you hope he will.

This is a very delicate issue because it can cause conflicts between the two countries.
You may ask him tons of questions, but don't forget that he can also chose or prefer to talk to the one that "may concern".
